Introduction

The physical oceanography group of the polar climate section investigates physical processes of the polar oceans and Nordic Seas through a variety of methods. Both through analytical theory and numerical modeling as well as sea-going observational programs and laboratory experiments we try to understand different aspects related to the physics of the Arctic and Antarctic oceans.
